JAMMU, Jan 23: Ashok Gupta, Deputy General Manager, Circle Head J&K Operations today delivered a cheque of Rs. 4.5 lakh to Toni Kumar and Makhni Devi on account of settlement of Life Insurance claim from MetLife.
This is the first claim that was got expedited by the Bank from MetLife after formal launch of MetLife Business in J&K Circle on October 31, 2012. The insurer had paid just two premiums and after receipt of the intimation, claim from the legal heirs was got processed from MetLife in just seven days.
Mr. Gupta informed that Bank is shortly going to launch a company with brand name PNB-MetLife and accordingly the bank has focused on assured guarantee payment product in the circle to begin with.
A K Mota, Chief Manager, Rajesh Verma, Circle Manager, MetLife J&K among others was present at the occasion.
