MeT predicts rains in Kashmir

SRINAGAR, Sept 25: The Meteorological Centre in Srinagar today predicted a wet spell for the next two days starting from tomorrow in scattered places of Kashmir with light isolated snowfall in the upper reaches.
The centre in its week-long weather prediction stated that the day temperature, with the onset of the rain, is expected to drop by 4-5 degree Celsius.
“Due to a feeble Western Disturbance, light isolated to scattered rain/snowfall(over higher reaches of Kmr & Kargil distt) most likely during 26-27th. No forecast of any Major Rain/snow for nxt 2 weeks. Day temp. expected to drop by 4-5 deg.cls,” the MeT stated in a Tweet.
