UDHAMPUR, May 17: A Lineman was electrocuted when he received fatal electric shock while repairing some fault on an electric pole at village Langha in Ramnagar area, here today.
According to the police, deceased Babu Ram (45), son of Ramalo Ram, resident of Larh Ramnagar, was a temporary worker, engaged as Lineman in the MES Department. He died on getting 11KV electric shock from main power supply line when he was doing some repair work on an electric pole near village Langha Ramnagar.
He reportedly died on the spot and Police shifted his dead body to the hospital for postmortem and other legal formalities.
