NEW DELHI, Feb 11: Mentha oil prices rose by Rs 15.60 to Rs 1,327 per kg in futures market today on strong domestic as well as export demand in the spot market amid lower arrivals from producing region.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in March rose by Rs 15.60, or 1.19 per cent, to Rs 1,327 per kg in business turnover of 310 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in February traded higher by Rs 12.40, or 0.88 per cent, to Rs 1,424.50 per kg in 1,208 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in mentha oil futures to strong domestic and export demand amid lower arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh. (PTI)
