NEW DELHI, July 27: Mentha oil futures fell 2.04 per cent to Rs 1,528 per kg today as speculators booked profits at prevailing levels amid fall in demand at the spot market.
Besides, adequate stocks position on higher supplies from major producing belts of Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh fuelled the downtrend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery this month declined by Rs 31.80, or 2.04 per cent, to Rs 1,528 per kg in a business turnover of 195 lots.
