This refers to the Editorial, “Orphaned Mendhar bridge “DE Oct. 12.
It is not astonishing or amazing that three leaders of three different political parties laid foundations for construction of Chhajla Bridge which is urgently needed by more than twenty thousand people of that area.
As a matter of fact, we Indians are not only gentle but also ignorant.
We think that a bridge or any developmental construction work is done by the money belonging to a politician some MLA or some MP we forget that money spent on every developmental work comes from the amount collected by Govt. from the common man in direct or indirect taxes.
Money is to be spent on construction of Chhajla bridge from the amount paid by common man in the shape of taxes to Govt.
Common man should decide and lay foundation stone.
