JAMMU, May 4: Senior BJP leader and former Minister, Bali Bhagat today said that PDP chief and former Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti’s love for those indulging in anti-state activities is strange and questionable.
In a statement issued here, BJP leader said, “It is surprising that instead of appreciating LG Manoj Sinha’s move to act against those involved in anti-national activities, the PDP Patron took a different stance of decrying the expulsion of the three Government employees and terming it Government’s misplaced priority”.
The former Minister said that despite the historical changes which changed the course of life in J&K, the PDP leader is still living in fool’s paradise and trying to blackmail the Central dispensation as she used to do during the tenure of weak and meek Congress regime. He said that no sane political entity in the country or even across the world will question the action taken against the aforesaid delinquent officials involved in anti-national activities but the case of Mehbooba Mufti seems to be different and peculiar.
“The PDP leader in a dramatic manner has linked this case with the crisis emanating out of Corona virus which has no connection with this case”, he said adding that Government should take cognizance in the matter and question the intent behind supporting the anti-nationals by the leader of a political party which even remained in power in the erstwhile State of J&K for quite some time.
“She must know that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is currently manning the affairs of the country and nobody can dare to act against the interests of the country. Even if those indulging in such activities is former CM or anybody else, the course taken by the Government will be the same and this should better be taken as a warning by one and all”, he maintained and added that Government in J&K needs to be praised for the bold step it has taken in the aforesaid case.
