JAMMU, Dec 30: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta today accused the PDP President Mehbooba Mufti of deceiving people with irrelevant lies and bogus statements.
He criticised Mehbooba Mufti for allegedly misleading the people of Jammu and Kashmir by her lies over different issues wherein PDP had failed badly to serve the masses in the Kashmir region.
“Mehbooba Mufti is now misleading the people by lies that her party PDP left coalition in erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir State whereas it is a known fact that BJP had walked out of the alliances,” he said.
BJP leader said that Mehbooba’s bogus statements are clearly visible as her allegations regarding the total ban on Jamaat and other irrelevant issues have never been in public domain so far and she is now generating such issues for her political survival and public sympathy.
“BJP which left the coalition with the PDP due to its anti-national policies and consistent spurious decisions,” he said and added that PDP has always deprived the people of not only Kashmir division but also in Jammu and its discriminatory policies in twin divisions have led to its degradation and downfall.
The former Deputy Chief Minister said that BJP was never comfortable with the alliances with dynasty and division centric political party like PDP but had to take the step at that point of time only for the betterment and welfare of the people of J&K.
