JAMMU, June 24: Rashtriyavadi Gujjar Parishad (RGP), J&K today came down heavily on ex-Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, alleging that she tried to create a divide between Muslims and Hindus of Jammu region for her political interests.
Addressing a press conference, Mohd Ayub Gujjar, spokesperson of the RGP J&K, said, “a conspiracy was hatched by Mehbooba Mufti with some criminal elements of Gujjar community to involve Hindus of Kathua in much publicized rape and murder case of a minor girl so that she can succeed in her design of dividing the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh on religious lines”.
He also attacked Mehbooba for befooling the people of Jammu by making false statement that she has written High Court of J&K for setting up of a fast track court in Kathua rape and murder case. He also lashed at her for deceiving Gujjar community for fake orders to Divisional Commissioner Jammu and Deputy Commissioners of districts of Jammu province that Gujjars will not be disturbed from any land they are in possession.
Mohd Ayub appealed the public of J&K to live in harmony with each other and reject the leaders like Mehbooba Mufti who are hell bent to create disharmony among various sections of the society to fulfill their political interests.
