SRINAGAR: Asking people to defy ban on movement of civilian traffic on the Kashmir-Jammu National Highway for two days in a week to allow free and secure movement of security force convoy, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday said her party will move to court against it.
Ms Mehbooba said no one can suppress the civilians in this way, adding ‘people have every right to use these roads’.
”People do not need permission to play on the roads. This is wrong. You can’t suppress Kashmiri’s this way. We have every right to use these roads,” Ms Mehbooba said here.
”I appeal to everyone to defy this ban. We are also going to court against this ban,” she added. (AGENCIES)
