Mega multi-specialty medical camp at SDH Jagti Township today

JAMMU, Apr 19: Vishwa Kashmiri Samaj (VKS) and Global Solace (NGO) in collaboration with Medanta Hospital Gurugram and American Oncology Centre Jammu is organizing a mega multi-specialty medical camp consisting 17 super specialties under one roof at SDH Jagti Township on April 20 and 21.
This was disclosed by Kiran Wattal (convener of VKS) while addressing a press conference, here today. He was accompanied by other office bearers of VKS. Wattal informed that such camp was earlier organized in 2017-18 in which nearly 5000 patients from Jagti Mini Township, surrounding villages and Jammu city were provided on spot medical care.
It was revealed that Medanta Hospital Gurugram has approved 7 specialties including their doctors and other equipments for the medical camp while American Oncology Centre Jammu has agreed to provide their Mobile Mammography vehicle for the camp so that on spot mammography is conducted. Besides this, prominent doctors of Jammu will render their services during the 2-day camp.
Wattal shared that during the camp, diagnostic facilities like X-ray, ECG, Ultrasound, BSR, PFT, Breathometer, BMD etc will also be available along with free medicines. He informed that the camp will start tomorrow (April 20) at 10 AM and continue upto 4 PM of Sunday (April 21). He further informed that Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo has consented to be the chief guest of this mega medical camp.
“Prominent doctors who will provide their services in the camp include Dr Sushil Razdan (Neurology), Dr Vijay Kohli (Cardiology), Dr Yudhvir Gupta (Pathalogist), Dr Indu Koul (Gynecology), Dr Rakesh Gupta (Dentist), Dr Satish Kenue (Pathologist), Dr Suresh Saraf (Urology), Dr RK Saproo (Medicine), Dr Jyoti Hak (Gynecology), Dr Ankur Goyal (Opthalmology), Dr Amit Vaid (Plastic Surgery) and Dr Surbhi Kudyar (Oncoplasty Surgeon),” Wattal added.
