MEF highlights demands

JAMMU, Nov 1: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (MEF) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Sushil Sudan and discussed various issues pertaining to them.
While speaking, Sushil Sudan demanded issuance of orders of regularization of all adhoc, contractual and consolidated employees, removal of pay anomalies of ministerial staff, enhancement of retirement age of Government employees from 58 to 60 years and payment of Sixth Pay Commission arrears in two installments.
He appealed all the activists of the Health and Family Welfare Department to participate in the protest rally of SGEJAC on November 5, to get their legitimate demands fulfilled.
Among others present were Vinod Kumar, secretary general, CL Koul, Anil Kesar, Kamaljeet Sawhney, Jarnail Chowdhary, RP Singh, Reham Din, Rakesh Hangloo, Mohd Saleem, Jugal Bakshi, etc.
