BALASORE: The medium-range surface to surface missile “Prithvi-II” was test-fired from the Integrated Test Range(ITR) at Chandipur on sea tonight.
According to the defence sources, the indigenously built missile, developed by the Defence Research Development Organisation(DRDO) was test-fired from a mobile launcher from the ITR complex at 07: 05 PM.
ITR sources said the 350 km range missile designed for quick manoeuvrability and wartime efficiency missile could be used as a tactical battlefield weapon. (AGENCIES)
