RAJOURI, May 17: A Medical shop has been sealed and its license cancelled by the concerned authorities in Rajouri.
An official said that in connection with the investigation in case FIR No. 24/2025 under Sections 8, 21, 22, 25, and 29 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Kandi, the Medical shop- M/S Dar Pharmacy located at Gujjar Mandi Rajouri was sealed under Section 22-D of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act for its involvement in the illegal sale of psychotropic substances.
Pursuant to the police report the matter regarding cancellation of the shop’s licence was taken up with the competent authority. Acting promptly the competent authority has cancelled the licence of M/S Dar Pharmacy with immediate effect.
The accused persons including one lady are currently lodged in judicial custody and further investigation into the network involved is ongoing.
