RAJOURI, Nov 13: Block Medical Officer (BMO) Manjakote, Dr Anis Altaf Nabi on the directions of higher authorities, organized a medical camp at village Paryali just 500 m from LoC.
More than 100 persons were examined by doctors and medical advice was provided to them. A team of six doctors including Dr Mehjoor Khalid, Dr Mohd Yousaf, Dr Sonia Vaid, Dr Asim Beg, Dr Vibhuti and Dr Anis along with paramedical staff provided their services to the people.
The camp catered for the medical needs of the locals of the area. The specialists carried out detailed check-up, diagnosed and distributed free medicines on spot. Old aged people, women, men and children were benefitted by the medical camp.
The locals visiting the camp were also educated about various lifestyles inviting diseases like Hypertension, Diabetes, Hepatitis and Typhoid, besides various water borne diseases.
