JAMMU, Jan 13: A free medical-cum-awareness camp was organized in Government Girls Higher Secondary School, RS Pura, by Lions Club in association with Sanskrit Vichar Manch.
During the camp about 600 patients including children were checked by a team of doctors including Physicians Dr Perupkar Singh, Dr Darshan Singh, Dr Gurpreet Singh and Dr Des Raj.
They also gave fitness tips to the patients and awared them about symptoms of various diseases including AIDS. The doctors also gave lecture on preventive measures for eye, ortho as well as dental problems.
Various clinical tests were conducted and medicines provided to the patients free of cost.
President, Lions Club, Ashok Gupta expressed gratitude towards SDM, RS Pura, BMO and principal of the School, for providing their kind cooperation in holding the camp for poor people living in border areas of RS Pura.
