JAMMU, May 20: A two-day workshop on Python Libraries was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering and Technology (MBSCET), Jammu, for students of the 4th semester CSE. The workshop aimed at strengthening students’ practical understanding of key Python libraries used in programming and application development.
The session focused on NumPy, Pandas, and Tkinter, providing participants with both theoretical insights and hands-on exposure. The workshop was conducted by Balbir Singh, Director, Techno Solutions, Jammu, who guided students through the fundamentals and practical applications of these libraries in real-world programming scenarios.
Principal Prof (Dr) Amrik Singh encouraged students to apply the skills learned to develop innovative applications, while Dean Academics Prof Praveen Singh highlighted internship opportunities and stressed the importance of practical exposure. The workshop concluded with a closing ceremony attended by Principal Prof (Dr) Amrik Singh, Administrator Prof (Dr) Rajinder Singh, Dean Academics Prof Praveen Singh and Director Student Welfare HS Gill.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Jasmeen Kaur, Head, CSE Department. The workshop was coordinated by Ridhika Sharma and Kiranpal Kaur, Assistant Professors, CSE Department.
