JAMMU, Feb 25: A second year MBBS student of Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu was killed here today in a road accident and his brother suffered injuries.
Police sources informed that the MBBS student, Manishwar Singh, son of Harvinder Singh, resident of Dessa, Doda was riding a motorcycle bearing registration number JK06A-8259 and his brother was also sitting with him when the motorcycle was hit by an unknown vehicle near Nagrota leaving the rider dead on the spot.
His brother, pillion rider, was injured and was shifted to GMC Jammu for treatment.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation.
