JAMMU, Sept 28: The 21st Shaheedi Divas of Shaheed Sub Maj Nain Singh Jamwal Shaurya Chakra (posthumous) was organized in the park in Sainik Colony, Ward No. 70 today to pay tributes to him.
Family of Shaheed, Nain Singh Jamwal, Ravinder Raina, president BJP JK UT, Chander Mohan Gupta,Mayor Jammu, Vikram Randhawa, ex MLC, Narinder Singh, corporator Ward 70 and Gurmeet Randhawa, corporator Ward 69 were also present on the occasion and paid rich tribute to the martyr.
Ravinder Raina, president BJP J&K UT said that organizing such functions for the martyrs and to remember their sagas of braveries and valorous inspire younger generation and inculcate a sense of patriotism in them.
Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor, JMC apprised the people that JMC has planned to develop some chowks and parks in the Jammu on the name of martyrs who have sacrificed their present for the future of others and nation.
Vikram Randhawa, ex MLC, Narinder Singh corporator of Ward 70 and Randhawa corporator ward 69 also expressed their views on the occasion. Parmodh Singh Chib, Ward president BJP and stage secretary, Padam Singh Choudhary, convenor, Shaheed Samark Committee, Rakesh Choudhary, president Veopar Mandal Sainik Colony, Ravi Bakshi, Umesh Sharma, Ajesh Gupta , Saroj Manhas,and ex servicemen and other citizens present on the occasion paid rich tribute to the Shaheed.
