He said in today’s world if anyone wants to go ahead in any field of life he does not face problems as used to be earlier.
Even the children coming from poor and downtrodden families can touch heights as Government has kept many facilities for their education and training. In this regard he referred to scholarships given to such students in primary higher secondary classes and special scholarships sanctioned for higher classes.
Rajinder Sharma said the teachings of Guru Naba Dass Ji are the basis of BJP Government’s policy. He said those students who cannot despite these facilities compete for professional courses, there are arrangements for them too and they can undergo small technical courses like plumbing, electrician, tailoring, machine operator etc. This way such youth after undergoing the training can do their own work and earn livelihood.
Rajinder Sharma said the people from poor families undergoing for professional training courses can also avail loans from banks on subsidized rates ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 25 lakh. In addition to it, the people can start their business ventures under startups and for this there is a Technical Development Board for proper guidance and support. The loans under this scheme are provided on five percent interest rate, he added.
Mayor said Modi Government taking a cue from this great saint of India has devoted itself for the welfare of entire society. He said the Government is ready to provide all help to its youth to stand up on their legs but they too have to show a will power and desire of doing something. “Without the will power of people to take advantage of facilities the Government alone can do nothing,” he added.
Mayor said for the welfare of labour there is labour card under which the Government bears the education expenses of their children. Likewise there is policy for houseless to provide houses to them, old age pension etc. The Government is trying its best to provide every kind of help and support to its people to make nation strong and prosperous, he added.
