JAMMU, Oct 15: Mayor Jammu Rajinder Sharma today inaugurated first franchise outlet of Delhi Chai Cafe ‘Masti ki Chai Shalla’ at Roop Nagar.
A grand ceremony was organized on the occasion and the outlet was thrown open in the presence of Ashok Kumar Sharma (Director, School Education Jammu), Subah Mehta, Joint Director (JSK) DSEJ, Tripta Devi (Municipal Councillor) and Nitin Sharma (CEO, Delhi Chai Café). The multi-anticipated cafe is set to welcome customers and immerse them in rich flavours and traditions of authentic Indian chai.
The ‘Chai Café’, which is owned by Brijesh Bhardwaj, is presenting more than 50 varieties of tea to be served to the valuable customers which include milk based tea, organic tea and premium organic tea. Mayor Jammu appreciated the ambience of the ‘Chai Cafe’ and said that such environmental friendly, polythene free cafe should blend the warmth of traditional Indian hospitality with a modern, comfortable ambience, providing a cozy retreat for ‘chai’ enthusiasts and those eager to explore the world of ‘chai’.
The proud owner of the Chai Cafe Nitin Sharma said, “Our passion for ‘chai’ is evident in every cup we serve and we can’t wait to share it with the local community.”
Bhardwaj said that this is the first of its kind cafe wherein every strata of society especially the tea lovers like students, officers, doctors, engineers etc can mushroom in to enjoy the tasty sips of varied varieties of tea and other delicious food and will organize get together parties, kitties and birthday parties with appealing ambience and ample of parking space.
Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Rajesh Sharma (Chairman, J&K SSB), Monika Bhandhari (Chief Accounts Officer, Directorate of School Education Jammu) and Mita Kumari (Assistant Commissioner, State Taxes Department).
