We the inhabitants of village Raipur draw the attention of RTO Jammu towards the pathetic condition of the transport service in our village which is located some 8 KM from the Jammu City. The population of the village is around 1500.
At present we have just one matador that is running the affairs of the village which cause great problem to the general public as public has to wait for long hours in boarding the matador to this village. One cannot afford to have just one matador in present times when the whole area is going on the path of development and growth.
It is pertinent to mention here that women and children in particular, suffer a lot as they have to travel a distance of 2 Kms to board a matador from Kot-Bhalwal to Matador Stand, BC Road, Jammu. This forces them to wait for long hours thereby causing great discomfort especially to women and old age people.
It is therefore humbly submitted that fresh permits of matadors to this village may be provided so that the general public may not suffer anymore.

Construct Udeywala bridge
During the widening of road from Udeywala the R&B Department of J&K Govt dismantled the old narrow Bridge at Udeywala for the construction of new wide bridge in May 2013. This bridge is an important link between the thousands of people residing in Mudd Gajansoo area. But, the work on the bridge is so slow that it looks the completion of bridge will take a long time which has become the habit of the Department. The more astronishing thing is that no concrete diversion has been made. One can see the passenger buses, cars, autorikshas, motorcycles, private vehicles struggling to cross through muddy, dingdong diversion full of deep pits.
I request the concerned authorities on behalf of the hapless people of this area to please complete the work on this bridge as soon as possible and mitigate the grievances of the public in general and poor farmers and peasants in particular who are the real sufferers.

Installation of new 250 KVA transformer
We the residents of Adarsh Vihar Deeli, hereby express our displeasure for non-installation of 250 KVA Transformer in our area near Radha Krishan Temple Deeli, where at present 100 KVA old faulty transformer has been installed, which does not function properly. In this context, we have been constantly requesting the PDD authorities but they paid no heed. We also approached the Minister, Raman Bhalla, MLA of our Constituency i.e. Gandhi Nagar Jammu, who very humbly acceded to our request and directed the Executive Engineer EM & RE, Division II, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu for the installation of 250 KVA transformer.
We also approached the concerned Ex N & A E of our area, But the said officers have been saying that the funds for the same are not available, and expressing their helplessness in the matter. The reason being best known to the Officers.
We request the Chief Minister to please get the required transformer installed without any delay, as we are suffering from very hot and humid weather days. The whole area is upgraded with their meter load and almost metered one and the residents are regularly paying their power bills, despit the constant voltage fluctuation and very low voltage.

Repair Naseeb Nagar road
A lot of time almost two years have passed since ERA started working on sewerage pipe in Naseeb Nagar Jammu. Since then the road which was dug up for laying the pipe has remained in deplorable State.
Had the concerned authorities imagined the inconvenience suffered by residents during this time, they might have repaired the road by this time. Alas! they remain quite indifferent to the problems of people living in this colony.
It is requested to them once again to get this road be repaired and black topped so that people could live a inconvenience free life.

Apathy of JKPCC staff
Without putting in place an alternate system for sewerage, the nallah catering the needs of New Plots, Ambphalla, Dental Hospital and JDA colony was directed to main roadside. Now there is no drain as the old drain is blocked by JKPCC (Engs) resulting in overflowing of water upto two feet depth infront of Dental Hospital gate, making it difficult for patients and attendents to go to Dental and psychiatric hospital and inhabitants of JDA Colony. As such the JKPCC authorities are requested by inhabitants of JDA Colony and hospital staff to direct their concerned staff to redress the grievances of people by way of construction of new open drain in place of old chocked drain to keep the system working as it was at the earliest.
Any loss to anybody in the society due to above fault will be responsibility of JKPCC.
