KATRA, Jan 21: A 40-year-old Gurgaon resident, bound for Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, died here today in his hotel room in Katra town.
The deceased was identified as Pana Lal, son of Sham Dhar. He complained of uneasiness after a bath in the early morning, following which he was shifted to the Community Health Centre (CHC), Katra, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The deceased was being accompanied by his brother in-law and other relatives, who refused to get an autopsy done, Police said and added that the body was later handed over to the family members.
