UDHAMPUR, Oct 29: Historic Mata Chaiman Devi Mela was held with great religious fervor, here today near Chenab river, in front of Sawlakote in Khadandra Valley of Panchari /Moungri.
DC Udhampur Ravinder Kumar, who was chief guest on the occasion, inaugurated the Mela while SSP Benam Tosh, 2 DFOs, ARTO, Chief Horticulture Officer, AD CAPD, CAO Archana Kumari, DySP, Tehsildar, BDO, ZEO, BMO, AEEs, JEs and officers of other departments of district Udhampur were present at the historical ancient holy place of Shree Mata Chaiman Devi, situated at a corner of district Udhampur in Parand village, near Chenab river in front of Sawlakote in Khadandra valley of Panchari /Moungri.
On the occasion, a public grievances redressal darbar was also held by the DC Udhampur.
