RAJOURI, Aug 12: A mason was killed while opening shuttering of a slab of an under construction house in Koteranka area of district Rajouri this morning.
Official sources said that incident took place at around 9 am this morning when, 32-year-old mason Mohd Shafeen, son of Madad Hussain , resident of Dhar was removing shuttering in the new house of Parveen Akhtar, wife of Maqbool Hussain and daughter of Ghulam Hussain at village Reatlah Dhar in Koteranka. The slab fell on him resulting his on the spot death.
Police party from Peeri rushed to the spot and started investigation into the matter. The body was handed over to the family of the deceased after performing legal formalities by police.
