Maruti Suzuki to hike prices from Jan

JAMMU, Dec 14: India’s biggest car manufacturer in terms of market share, Maruti Suzuki India (MSI), which sells one of the every two cars in the country, has finally decided to increase the prices of their vehicles across models by upto Rs 20,000 from January 2016.
According to MSI Spokesperson, “The price increase has been necessitated on account of increase in costs due to weakening of rupee against dollar, rise in administrative and other costs”.
He added that the increase in prices is in continuation of company’s endeavour to offer most reliable and exceptional products to its customers.
With this Maruti Suzuki India, has joined other auto makers who have already announced to hike their vehicle rates starting from January 2016, he stated.
