UDHAMPUR, June 25: A free follow up eye camp was held up at Lander by martyr Captain Tushar Mahajan Memorial Trust in collaboration with the Rotary Eye Hospital Udham pur today, to examine that 40 patients operated for Cataract on July 14 last year at Rotary Hospital have received light.
It was a matter of great delight that all the operations were successful. One girl named Bimla Devi aged 15 years who was suffering with cataract in both eyes since birth & was blind totally, was also operated for one eye. Fortunately she got the light and even saw her mother first time. It was Miss Bimla & her mother were beaming with happiness. Now Trust under take to get the surgery of her second eye by next month.
