Martyr Koushal Singh cremated with full military honour

SAMBA, Dec 18: Cremation of Shaheed Sepoy Koushal Singh, son of  Chuni Singh resident of village Badla Deonia (Sarna) of  Samba observed with full of military honour at the bank of river Devak Ghat at Utterbehni today.

On the wreath ceremony which was held at Devak Ghat Utterbehni cremation ground, MLA Samba Dr. Davinder Kumar Manyal, SSP Samba Anil Magotra, ADC, Tilak Raj, Col. Sanjay Yadav from Station Headquarter Samba,  MLC, Master Noor Hussain, ex sarpanches, ex panches and many more from adjoining villages took part at the last rites of martyr Koushal Singh.
As per Col. Yadav, Sep Koushal  Singh of 20 Dogra Regiment was posted at Handwara Sector in Kashmir and during duty the avalanches incident took place on December 11 in which Sep Koushal Singh and his colleagues were goes to missing and after the struggle, Sep Koushal Singh’s dead body was retrieved on  December 16.
As per Uncle  of Shaheed Sep Koushal Singh, Mohan Singh, Koushal Singh was first posted in Kashmir after training and only 15 months he had spent in his army career. He also told that Koushal joined army during he was studying in class B.A. Part-I and was around 18 years old.
