JAMMU, Sept 16: State president B J P SC Morcha and MLA Samba, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal today kick started construction of 350 meter road from village Kamila to Moh Tarkhan in Samba constituency which will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 5.71 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that with the start of construction work on the road, a long pending demand of people of the area has been fulfilled.
Highlighting the importance of road connectivity, the MLA said that road network plays vital role in transforming socio-economic profile of people. He said that better road connectivity provides easy access to every necessary service.
Maintaining that the present dispensation has an agenda for equitable development of all the sections of society, Manyal asked people to come forward and avail benefit of schemes launched for their welfare.
Officers of the concerned departments such as AEE K.K Attri, AE and JE PWD R&B, Avtar Singh, Sandeep Kumar, Suresh Manyal and a large number of people of the area were also present on the occasion.
