JAMMU, May 27: While paying tributes to Kargil martyrs, Minister for Health and Medical Education Dr Davinder Kumar Manyal today inaugurated 4th free eye-check up camp at Vijaypur, which was organized in the memory of Shaheed Vijay Kumar who laid down his precious life for nation during Operation Vijay in Kargil in 1999.
During the function, the Minister also stressed upon the common masses to take more and more benefits from these types of medical and health activities.
On the occasion, a team of specialized doctors examined patients and also provide free medicine to the patients.
CMO Samba, BMO Ramgarh, team of doctors and medical staff were also present on the occasion.
Later, the Minister also inaugurated the renovated temple complex and announced Rs 1 crore for development of roads in Sainik Colony.
BJP District President Samba, Jangbir Singh Chikoo, officials and BJP workers were also present on the occasion.
