JAMMU, Apr 19: Influenced by the policies, ideology and commitment to cow protection and public welfare, nearly a dozen men joined the J&K unit of Shiv Sena (UBT) during a function here today.
Shiv Sena J&K president, Manish Sahni and Sanjay Bhatt, Kashmir In-charge, warmly welcomed all the new entrants by presenting them Shiv Bandhan and the party symbol.
On this occasion, the Shiv Sena workers pledged to work towards the establishment of a Gaushala in Kashmir.
The new entrants included Mohammad Rafiq Sofi, Feroz Ahmad, Shakeel Ahmad Dar, Mohd Shabeen Ganiya, Bashir Ahmad and Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh and their supporters.
Meanwhile, in Bandipora, dozens of local leaders and social workers joined Shiv Sena during a programme organised by Mushtaq Ahmad Akhoon, executive president, Kashmir and Muhammad Ashraf, District president.
Raju Kapoor, vice chairman and Aditya Mahajan, vice president were also present on this occasion.
