RAJOURI, Aug 18: A tragic incident unfolded in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on August 16, 2023, when a man Chandraprakash, a 45-year-old laborer was swept away by floodwaters while attempting to cross a river. His body was recovered two days later on August 18 along the riverbanks.

In the wake of this devastating event, the local community came together to support Chandraprakash’s family during this trying time. The family expressed their deep gratitude to the district administration, the dedicated search teams, and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) for their relentless efforts in searching for Chandraprakash.
