RAJOURI, Mar 23: A suspected case of hanging has been reported from Kokey Chapri area of Chingus in district Rajouri.
Official sources said that body of Nazir Ahmed (55), son of Ghulam Hussain, resident of Changus, was found hanging under suspicious circumstances.
The deceased was shifted to GMC Rajouri, where medico-legal formalities were conducted under MLC No. 2784. The body has been kept in the mortuary of the hospital for further necessary procedures.
Chingus police has taken cognizance of the matter, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause and circumstances surrounding the incident.
