Manoranjan Kala Kendra stages Punjabi play “Raja Rani”

JAMMU, May 7: Manoranjan Kala Kendra staged Punjabi play “Raja Rani” written by Rabinder Nath Tagore and translated by Balwant Gargi at auditorium of Government Polytechnic College, Bikram Chowk.
On the occasion, Arun Bangotra, Principal, Government Polytechnic College was the chief guest, while Harbans Singh, former Minister, Madhu Singh, Principal and staff of MC Khalsa College of Education, Chand Nagar were also present.
Artists of Manoranjan Kala Kendra who acted in the play were Raja Vikram-TS Premee, Rani Sumita-Sushmita Banerjee, Sevak-Sanil Raina, Devdant-Sidharth Sharma, Mantri-Narayan, Darbari-Shubam Baneerjee, Prohat-Pt Makhan Shastri, Senapati-Devinder Singh, Sanik-Manit Kumar, Shanker-Narayan, Chander Sain-Mukesh Sharma, Revti-Neena Rani, Amru-Vijay Sharma, Ela-Chandni, Brahman (1)-Dr Rajinder Thappa, Brahman (2)-Bipalve Shastri.
The play was directed by TS Premee, while light were controlled by Ajay Sharma, music by Vijay Sharma, make up by Pooja, costumes by Balvinder Kour, set by Dr Rajinder Thappa, production controller was Davinder Singh, sound by Sevesh Sharma and Nagara beats by Manit Kumar.
In the end, Dr Rajinder Thappa, founder of Manoranjan Kala Kendra presented vote of thanks.
