JAMMU, Oct 25: Minister for Cooperatives Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today formally announced implementation of Sixth Pay Commission recommendations in favour of JAKFED employees.
Dr Sharma directed the JAKFED management to release salary of the employees under Sixth Pay Commission with effect from this month.
The order was passed after JAKFED Employees Trade Union leaders including Chaman Lal Gupta, president and Sanjeev Parihar, general secretary called on the Minister along with SB Gandotra, Mukesh Damral, Anil Gupta, Naveen Chander, Ramesh Sharma, Suraj Prakash, Varinder Chowdhary, Sushil Sopori and Sanjeev Bhagat.
Meanwhile, JAKFED Employees Trade Union today announced its body comprising Mukesh Damral as chief patron, Anil Gupta as patron, Naveen Chander as Advisor, SB Gandotra, Puran Chand and Sanjeev Bhagat as special invitees.
Chaman Lal Gupta has already been elected as president while Ramesh Sharma was elected as senior vice president, Varinder Chowdhary as vice president, Sanjeev Parihar, already elected as general secretary, Amarjit Singh as secretary, Suraj Prakash as organizing secretary, Nirmal Hak as member, Santosh Badyal as cashier, Sham Chhetri as legal advisor, Sandeep Sharma as incharge publicity, NP Wazir, Sham Lal Sharma, Mohammad Amin, Kulwant Singh and Mohan Lal as members.
