KATHUA, Jan 4: Former minister and senior Congress leader Manohar Lal Sharma addressed a largely attended meeting of party workers and his supporters at Dayalachak in Kathua.
Mr Sharma reiterated his commitment for service to people of the area and said that for him, politics was a mission to serve common masses. He exhorted the Congress workers and his supporters not to feel demoralized in the wake of Assembly elections results but keep serving the people with more dedication.
The Congress leader alleged that BJP managed to win Assembly seats by using money power and polarization, which was a dangerous trend in the democracy. He also held the BJP-led Central Government responsible for the miseries of border residents and their repeated migration due to unprovoked firing.
