JAMMU, Nov 17: Former Minister and senior Congress leader Dr Manohar Lal Sharma has criticized BJP for ignoring the basic issues of the people from Jammu region.
In a press statement issued here today, the Congress leader alleged that BJP-PDP  Government has failed in all  aspects especially deliverance and governance as committed by both the parties during Assembly elections. The promises made to the people of J&K of good governance and better deliverance proved  fake as nothing has been seen  on ground.
The  working style of  BJP in present dispensation is totally against the interest of Jammu province.   But the peoples of Jammu who have  high expectations from BJP have been feeling dejected. They created wedge between the people of Jammu & Kashmir regions for their  vested interests.
Dr Sharma alleged that BJP took U- turn on several issues. They remained silent on completion of artificial lake on river Tawi, abrogation of Article 370, opening of AIIMS in Jammu, settlement of West Pakistani refugees and Smart City for Jammu, Dr Lal said.
The Congress leader alleged that working style of BJP is totally against the interests of Jammu. He said nothing has been done for the border people. They are under constant threat of firing. The shelters have not been raised for them despite assurances. The Government even failed to resolve the issue of daily rated PHE, CP workers and ITI trained temporary PHE staff.
