BISHNAH, Oct 4: President AIJMS, Ch Manmohan Singh on Tuesday reiterated the demand for OBC status to Jats in J&K.
He said that BJP led government has assured reservation to Paharis while discriminating displaced Jat community.
Addressing a meeting of Jat community members in Bishnah, Manmohan Singh said that BJP led government should not test the patience of Jats as the community will not tolerate injustice.
He said that Jats hoped much from the visit of Union Home Minister but now the community is feeling neglected.
The Jat leader appealed to the community members to ensure that women belonging to every household of the community should become part of Mahila Adhiveshan scheduled to be held on October 9, 2022 at Golden Leaf Banquet, Babliana falling in Digiana area of Jammu.
