JAMMU, Feb 6: A meeting of senior J&K National Panthers Party (JKNPP) leaders was held here today under the chairmanship of JKNPP president, Balwant Singh Mankotia.
Prof. Bhim Singh, chief patron and founder of JKNPP was the special guest of honour in the meeting.
After hectic deliberations the meeting unanimously declared that JKNPP president, Balwant Singh Mankotia shall continue as a J&K president of JKNPP till March 23, 2022.
A handout of JKNPP stated that Mankotia shall appoint party officer-bearers within in a week.
The meeting and election of the president was held in response to a letter by Election Commission of India.
Prominent among those who deliberated in the meeting were Masood Andrabi, Iqbal Choudhary—vice presidents; P.K Ganju, sr. vice president, Returning Officer; Anita Thakur, Yash Paul Kundal and Hakitat Singh, general secretaries; Gagan Pratap Singh, state secretary; Rajeshwar Singh Sambyal, district president Samba; Balwan Singh, state secretary; Neeraj Gupta and Sewa Singh Bali, general secretaries PTU; Parshotam Parihar, state secretary PTU; Surinder Chouhan, district president (Jammu Rural); Surinder Kumar Wahi, secretary besides others district presidents and senior working committee members.
