JAMMU, May 31: The Government today ordered transfer and posting of IGP Human Rights Abdul Qayoom Manhas as IGP Railways in place of Z A Chisti, who retired today from the services.
Mr Manhas had recently been elevated as IGP and posted as IGP Human Rights.
Mr Chisti, IGP Railways, retired from the services today. Mr Manhas will take over the charge of IGP Railways from Mr Chisti.
Mr Manhas had been posted as DIG Armed Police before his elevation and posting as IGP few days back.
