Management event TATVA-2019 begins at SMVDU

KATRA, Mar 1: Carrying the theme of ‘Harmony’, TATVA-2019, a three-day management event, started today at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra.
The event was organised by the School of Business, Faculty of Management, SMVDU, where Prof Vidyanand Jha of IIM Calcutta and Sanjeev Singh, Chief Strategy Officer, Trescon Global, graced the occasion as the chief guest and the guest of honour respectively.
Prof Jha inspired the audience with his words of wisdom and asked the students for self realisation, collaborative learning and action based approach and global acclimatisation. He also emphasized on realisation with nationalism.
Sanjeev encouraged the students to work on the power to visualise and realise. He said that TATVA 2019 is the perfect platform to learn to management.
Prof Dinabandhu Mukhop-adhyay, Dean Faculty of Management, emphasized on the role of experiential learning by the management students while Dr Saurabh, Coordinator of the event also spoke on the occasion.
TATVA 2019 comprises of events includes NavAnkur, Samvaad, I-Expo, 50 kaFunda, Ad-Selfie and Karyaneeti, House of Cards, Short-Film Making etc. The event has the participation from students of colleges from in and around Jammu.
TATVA-2019 comprises of spectacular and memorable cultural evenings each day by SPIC MACAY SMVDU Chapter, organized under TATVA-2019, School of Business and Board of Cultural activities. International artist such as Dr Sunanada Sharma (classical Vocalist), Rajendra Prasanna (Flute) and Rani Khanam Kathak will be performing.
A vote of thanks was presented by Akshay Tikoo, student coordinator. The event has been sponsored by SBI, SBI YONO, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Kaffberry, Nox Cafe, The Nomad Cafe, Seven Beans, Tandoori Cafe and The Muscle Factory. The program concluded with the national anthem.
