JAMMU, Mar 10: Bakshi Nagar police arrested a man, who was involved in attempt to murder case.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bakshi Nagar police station conducted raid and arrested an accused, who was evading his arrest in attempt to murder case.
The accused has been identified as Rishab Kumar alias Ricky, son of Ashok Kumar, a resident of Rajpura. The weapon of offence ‘toka’ was also recovered from the instance of the accused.
He had attacked Ajay Kumar, son of Sardari Lal and Ramesh Kumar, son of Ujjar, both residents of Bakshi Nagar with sharp edged weapon (toka) owing to some old enmity.
A case under FIR Number 39/16 under Section 307 RPC 4/27 Arms Act stands registered against him at Bakshi Nagar police station.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Bakshi Nagar Ashwani Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO West Suganda Mahajan and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
