JAMMU, May 12: A man succumbed to his burn injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), here today.
According to a police official, the man identified as Sohan (35) son of Kuldeep Kumar, a resident of Manyar, was shifted here at GMCH Jammu on May 9 after he suffered 100 % burn injuries at his residence due to leakage of domestic gas.
“However, the man succumbed to his injuries today at about 4:20 AM. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites,” the official said, adding, the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
