JAMMU, Feb 6: A man today succumbed to his injuries received in an assault case, here at Government Medical College and Hospital.
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Shabir Ahmed (32) son of Shah Wali, a resident of Kishtwar, was shifted here at GMCH on January 29 after he suffered injuries in an assault case.
However, the man succumbed to his injuries today at about 4.30 pm. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for post mortem.
The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
