SRINAGAR, July 5: One person died after he slipped and struck with the stone in forest area of Sonamarg last evening.
A police spokesperson said that a Shepherd, Basher Ahmad Chopan, 35 son of Ghulam Mohammad Chopan of Prang, Kangan was grazing his cattle flock in the forest area of Sonamarg. He slipped and struck with the stone, resulting in his on spot death. The body of deceased was handed over to his relative for last rites.
