Srinagar, Dec 25: Militants this evening killed a 42-year-old man in Sopore area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Sources said that two militants fired upon Nazir Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Ahad Mir at Bahrampora area of Rafiabad Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The militants fled after firing at him leaving him in a pool of blood. He was immediately shifted to Sopore Hospital for treatment and was later referred to Srinagar’s SMHS hospital where he was declared as brought dead.
Mir was a fruit dealer and the reason for his targeting is not known.
