KATHUA, June 8: Police nabbed a man and recovered heroin from his possession.
As per official spokesman, a team from Police Station Kathua during checking intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 9 grams heroin from the possession of the pedestrian and nabbed him.
The arrested pedestrian was identified as Amandeep Singh, son of late Amolak Singh of Ward Number 11 District Kathua.
A case FIR Number 228/2022 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Kathua and investigation started.
Police team led by PSI Arjun Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Kathua Inspector OP Chib, DySP Headquarters Kathua Shammi Kumar and SSP Kathua RC Kotwal.
