POONCH, June 8: The police recovered a minor kidnapped school girl and arrested the accused from Jammu area today.
A police spokesman said that on May 27, 2022, one person namely Mohd Farooq, hailing from a village near Poonch lodged complaint at Police Station Poonch mentioning that one person namlely, Bilal Ahmed with criminal attention has kidnapped his minor girl when she was on way back home from school. Upon this FIR No.104/2022 U/S 363/109/IPC was registered and investigation was taken up.
SHO Poonch under the supervision of DySP headquarters Poonch raided several suspected locations to trace out the minor girl and accused involved. Finally, after hectic efforts of various police teams with the help of Cyber Cell Poonch traced out minor girl and arrested accused from Subhash Nagar area of Jammu.
