RAMBAN, June 13: Banihal police nabbed a man along with cannabis near T Chowk, here today.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Banihal police station laid a naka at T Chowk and nabbed a person along with 150 grams cannabis.
The accused has been identified as Fayaz Ahmed Mir, son of Mohammad Ismail Mir, a resident of district Shopian.
A case under FIR Number 74/17 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered against the accused at police station Banihal and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Banihal Mohammad Afzal Wani made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Banihal Dheeraj Singh Katoch and SSP Ramban Mohan Lal.
