JAMMU, Sept 16: A man today made an abortive attempt on his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Rehari Colony area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Raj Kumar (35) son of Mool Raj, a resident of Rehari Colony, allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence following which he was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where his condition was stated to be stable.
However, it was not known why he took this extreme step. The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
